How to Enable/Disable Two Factor Authentication in cPanel?

You can easily set enable and then disable two factor authentication in cPanel.
  • Log into your cPanel account.
  • Navigate to the SECURITY tab and click on the Two-Factor Authentication option.
  • Now click on the Set Up Two-Factor Authentication button.
  • Now, download the Google Authenticator app on your phone, and open it. 
  • Scan a QR code option from your authenticator app and scan the QR located inside the 2FA section in cPanel.
  • As you scan the QR, 6-digit code will be generated.
  • Paste the configuration code before it expires and then click over Configure Two-Factor Authentication button.
To disable 2FA simply click over Remove Two Factor Authentication button.
