How to transfer WordPress site from Localhost to Live server?

We have two main methods to migrate your site from localhost to live server –

  1. Manual Method
  2. Using Plugins

Here we will describe you the most convenient and easier way to migrate your site is  by using WordPress Plugins. The most reliable and popular plugin is All-In-One WP Migration. With the help of this plugin you can easily migrate your site from localhost to live server. You need no technical knowledge for this. Let’s see the step by step procedure to transfer a site from Localhost to Live server.

Step::1 Login to your WordPress dashboard(Localhost)

Step::2 Go to the Plugins section and click on Add New

Step::3 In the search box type All-In-One WP Migration

Step::4 Install and activate the Plugin

Step::5 After activating it, you can see an option named All-in-One WP Migration in the left pane of your WordPress Dashboard. Click on Export and it will open an Export Site window

Step::6 Next it will ask you about the format in which you want to Export your localhost site. Select File

Step::7 Click on Download Localhost.

Now, log into cPanel and Install WordPress on the destination server and then, All-In-One WP Migration plugin from the dashboard. Install & Activate it.

Once activated, navigate to left pane of the dashboard and Click Import option under All-In-One WP Migration section.

Step::10 Next select the same format i.e file to Import the local site as selected in Step 6.

Step::11 Select the wpress file you downloaded earlier

Step::12 Finally click on Proceed

That’s it!!Your site is live now. It is really simple to move your WordPress site from localhost to server with All-In-One WP Migration.
